Apps ProductShake ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our iOS applications.
Information We Collect
Images You Provide
When you use our identifier apps, you may take or upload photos for identification. These images are sent to our AI service (Google Gemini API) for processing. We do not store your images on our servers. Images are processed in real-time and discarded immediately after generating results.
Local Preferences
We store your app preferences (such as language selection and scan history) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Purchase Information
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple handles all billing and payment processing.

Third-Party Services
Our apps use the following third-party services:
- Google Gemini API: For AI-powered image analysis. Images are sent to Google's API through our secure proxy server for identification. Images are processed in real-time and not stored.
- Apple App Store: For subscription management and payment processing. We use Apple's native StoreKit framework and do not use any third-party payment services.
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.
What We Don't Collect
We are committed to minimal data collection. Our apps do NOT collect:
- Device identifiers (UDID, IDFA, or advertising IDs)
- Location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Contacts, calendar, or other personal data
We do not use any analytics SDKs (such as Firebase, Amplitude, or Mixpanel) in our apps.
Data Storage
Identification history and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms. This data is not transmitted to our servers and remains under your control. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information. All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your local scan history at any time within the app
- Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data
- Cancel your subscription at any time through Apple's App Store settings
- Contact us with any privacy-related questions or concerns
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through the app.
